The Client:

Designs for Health (DFH) is a reliable name in the vitamin manufacturing and supply industry. With head offices in Canada, CT, Nevada, Montana and Australia, the company has shown an exponential growth curve. It started operations in Connecticut and within a short span, it grew from a small company to a more than $300 million revenue business.
 
The Challenges:
 
Along with the high growth came a significant rise in the number of clients. DFH’s current Accounts Payable Process was getting overburdened. The current system was working on two different ERP systems and the duplicate steps were creating redundancies. This whole thing was slowing down the complete Process.

Mike Charland, the current CFO of DHF was striving hard to make the company grow by leaps n bounds. The new growth brought in new challenges and Mike knew he had to associate with some experts at that point in time. 
Previously Mike had met Dhiraj at several networking events and liked the services he offered to other businesses. Over a period of two years, on several occasions, he had asked Dhiraj and his team to work along with several other consultants and reorganize the growing business. 
 
Eventually, he brought in GFF’s Dhiraj and his team to reorganize the processes and help him overcome the current challenges. Dhiraj, with his expertise and experience, quickly identified the challenges in various processes.  The first change that they agreed to bring in was a completely new T&E system. Dhiraj redesigned the T&E Policies, migrated the organization to the new T&E software, designed the process and documented everything right from setup to the end-user training manual. 
 
GFF refined and completely integrated DHF’s multiple cards and companies with NetSuite. 
 
After the completion of the T&E project, Dhiraj was brought in to refine the Accounts Payable Process too.  
 
The challenge was that DFH was initially working on two different ERP systems, and it was quite a daunting task to undertake. The first step that GFF took was to identify the entire process of the two different ERP systems and outline it in a simple way. Then they discussed the process with the CFO and Controller and advised them to remove all the duplicate steps. Next, they implemented the changes and ensured the uninterrupted and proper functioning of the Accounts Payable process.
 
Their straightforward approach of understanding the flaws, identifying the loopholes, and overcoming the challenges through crisp and clear communication with the team helped enhance the efficiency of the DHF team.
